DEMARCUS BERRY IS THE NEW COACH OF GIFU SWOOPS

The Gifu Swoops are pleased to announce DeMarcus Berry as the new Head Coach for the 2026–2027 season. Coach Berry will begin his fifth season in Japan. Throughout his coaching journey in Japan, he has served as an assistant coach with Yokohama Excellence and Koshigaya Alphas, while also spending two seasons as Head Coach of Tokushima Gambarous.
